The Invisalign® system is one of the most popular alternatives to metal braces

It is very discreet, and you can remove the aligners for eating and to brush your teeth. The aligners are also very comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth irritation during treatment.

How does the Invisalign® method work?

Invisalign® uses a series of bespoke transparent and lightweight, BPA-free plastic aligners. You wear your aligners for 2 weeks and then switch to the next in the series. The pressure from the aligners gradually ease your teeth into position. You will return to the Dentique Specialist Centre every 4 weeks for a check-up so your dentist can monitor your progress.

How are the aligners made?

Your dentist, using a 3D scanner, will take an image of your teeth and jaw. Using the image and computer software, your dentist will send the information to the Invisalign® laboratory where your bespoke aligners are made.

This special software can also show you what your teeth will look like at the end of your treatment.

Is Invisalign® as effective as metal braces?

Like braces, Invisalign® effectively straighten teeth.

How long does the treatment take?

The length of the treatment will depend on the severity of the case.
