Single and Multiple Tooth Dental Implants

Made of titanium, dental implants are placed in your jaw and are designed to mimic the root structure of missing teeth, providing support and stability for replacement teeth.

How long does the procedure take?

After an assessment and any other required treatments, such as a tooth extraction, are performed, your dentist will surgically implant the titanium screw under local anaesthesia. This is completed in a single visit.

Once the area has fully healed, anywhere from 3-6 months, your dentist places a crown on top of the implant.

Can anyone get implants?

Some people may not have enough bone density to allow an implant to successfully bond with their jaw. In these cases, a bone graft may be necessary to provide enough support for the implant.

How long do implants last?

An implant should last a lifetime. The crown can last up to 20 years or more before you will need to replace it.

How do I care for my implant?

Continue with your normal oral hygiene routine. Regularly brushing, flossing, and visits to your dentist are important to maintaining your oral health.

If you have one or more missing teeth and would like to discuss your suitability for an implant, contact Dentique Specialist Centre on 020 8360 0500 to book a consultation.
